Calendar

See dated work in one place, including events, bookings, inspections, and task deadlines.

Calendar

The calendar combines dated records from multiple features into one planning view. It loads the visible month and lets each user filter the source types available in that view.

What appears

  • Event slots, festivals, festival days, vehicle inspections, task deadlines, and scheduling appointments can appear as calendar items.
  • Archived events, event slots, festivals, festival days, vehicles, and tasks are skipped. Cancelled scheduling appointments are also skipped.
  • Opening Calendar requires Calendar read access. Source items are included only with the matching read permission: Events for event slots, festivals, and festival days; Vehicles for inspections; Tasks for deadlines; Scheduling for appointments.
  • When read access is conditional, the calendar applies the source resource predicate before showing records, so each source can be narrower than the full workspace.
  • The Calendar item in the sidebar shows today's calendar item count when Calendar is enabled in the sidebar and the user has Calendar read access. The badge uses the same source permissions and hides when there are no items today.

Working in the calendar

  • Use the calendar item filters to show or hide available source types.
  • Click event slots, festivals, vehicle inspections, task deadlines, or appointments to open their record. Festival days appear as dated markers and do not open a standalone detail page.
  • If you can create events, double-click a day to create an event from 09:00 to 10:00 on that date.
  • Right-click a day to create an event or task when permitted. Tasks created this way use the selected date as the deadline.
