Versions

Versions store proposed changes separately from the live record.

What versions are for

• Internal users can review changes before accepting them.
• Share edits create pending versions automatically.
• A version keeps the target collection, target item, proposed field changes, optional snapshot data, and review metadata.

Current behavior

• Pending versions can be accepted, partially accepted, or rejected.
• Accepted and rejected decisions are recorded with user and timestamp data.
• Item pages that support version review surface these records in a versions tab.
