Notification Defaults define the starting notification channels for workspace-scoped events.
What this page controls
- Admins can set default channels per event key.
- Users inherit these defaults for workspace-scoped events in their own notification settings.
- Users can override non-enforced workspace events in their personal settings.
- Enforced events stay enabled even if a user would otherwise disable them.
- Account-scoped events such as
chat.message,call.incoming,daily_digest,auth.new_login,auth.security,tenant.invitation, calendar sync, and device handoff are controlled from personal notification settings instead of workspace defaults.
