Control personal notification delivery and workspace defaults for assignments, deadlines, and other activity.
Notifications
Notification settings are split between personal preferences and workspace defaults.
Personal settings
- Open Settings → Notifications.
- Choose which channels you want for each event type.
- Account-scoped events apply across every workspace. They include chat messages, incoming calls, daily digest, calendar sync, new sign-ins, security alerts, device handoff, and workspace invitations.
- The daily digest summarizes due-today tasks, overdue tasks, and open invoice counts across workspaces where you are an admin or member.
- Workspace-scoped events belong to a specific workspace. They include task assignment, task comments, task deadlines, task mentions, discussion mentions, event and booking updates, incoming invoice detection, share activity, quotes, invoices, inquiries, and work orders.
- In multi-workspace accounts, the notification popover can filter All, This workspace, and Account. Opening a notification from another workspace switches to that workspace before following the link.
Workspace defaults
- Open System Settings → Notifications.
- Administrators can define default channels for workspace-scoped events.
- Personal workspace settings can still override defaults unless a channel is enforced.
- Account-scoped events are controlled from personal notification settings instead of workspace defaults.
