Manage your account preferences, appearance, notifications, and security settings.

Account

The Account area under Settings lets you customize your personal account preferences, control how Einblick looks and behaves, manage notifications, and configure security options. These settings are personal to your account and don't affect other users.

Account settings

  • Update your personal information: name, email address, phone number, and profile photo.
  • Change your password to maintain account security.
  • View your account creation date and last login information.
  • Manage account preferences and personal details.

Appearance

  • Choose between light and dark themes to match your preference.
  • Adjust interface elements to suit your visual preferences.
  • Customize how information is displayed throughout the application.

Notifications

  • Configure which notifications you receive and how you receive them.
  • Set notification preferences for different types of events (tasks, messages, project updates, etc.).
  • Choose notification channels: in-app, email, or both.
  • Control notification frequency to avoid overwhelming alerts.

Display preferences

  • Adjust display settings to optimize your viewing experience.
  • Configure how data tables, lists, and detail views are presented.
  • Customize information density and layout preferences.

Security

  • Change your password regularly to maintain account security.
  • The Security tab includes the 2FA section and Delete Account.
  • Personal 2FA setup can be completed from this tab with your current password, an authenticator app, and a verification code.
  • Save the generated backup codes after setup. If MFA is required by a workspace or system-admin policy, the disable action is unavailable until that requirement is removed.
  • Use Delete Account to permanently remove your Einblick account when needed.
  • Account deletion requires your current password and confirmation of your email address.
  • Deleting your account immediately removes your memberships from every workspace and signs you out.

My Memberships

  • View every workspace you belong to and see your current role and status in each one.
  • Accept or decline pending workspace invitations directly from this page.
  • Leave a workspace when you no longer need access to it.
  • You cannot leave a workspace if you are its last active admin.

Best practices

  • Review your notification settings regularly to ensure you're receiving important updates without being overwhelmed.
  • Review connected accounts and devices in Settings → Connections when you want to manage access on your own devices.
  • Keep your profile information up to date so team members can contact you easily.
  • Choose appearance settings that are comfortable for extended use.
  • Regularly review your memberships to ensure you have appropriate access levels.
