Account

Settings contains preferences that belong to your account rather than the current Workspace. Use its tabs to manage your profile, appearance, notifications, keyboard shortcuts, security, memberships, feedback, and connections.

Account

  • Update your profile photo and name.
  • Add and verify email addresses, choose the primary address, or remove addresses you no longer use.
  • Choose your language. This preference is saved to your account and follows you across devices.
  • Choose whether other users can find your profile publicly.

Appearance

Choose an interface font, a light, dark, or system theme, and whether chats use Bubbles or the denser Compact layout. The system theme follows your device's appearance.

Notifications

Choose which Workspace events notify you and enable channels such as in-app, email, device alert, or in-app banner. Device delivery, sound, focused-window behavior, and desktop launch settings apply only to the current browser profile or desktop installation.

See Notification settings for the complete behavior.

Keyboard shortcuts

The Keyboard Shortcuts tab lists every available shortcut by group. Click a binding to record a replacement, reset one customized shortcut, or reset all shortcuts to their defaults. Custom bindings are stored on the current browser profile or desktop installation.

Useful defaults include:

  • Ctrl/Cmd + K opens the command palette. It can navigate, search records and help articles, switch Workspaces, change the theme, and run creation commands allowed by your role.
  • Ctrl/Cmd + N runs the create action for the current view, when one is available.
  • Ctrl/Cmd + F focuses search in the current view.
  • Ctrl/Cmd + O opens document ingestion.
  • Ctrl/Cmd + , opens Workspace settings when available, otherwise personal settings. Ctrl/Cmd + ; always opens personal settings.
  • Ctrl/Cmd + 1 through 9 open the corresponding visible sidebar destination.

The tab also includes shortcuts for Workspace switching, the sidebar, Help Center, AI assistant, theme, and time tracking.

Security

  • Change your password and manage two-factor authentication, passkeys, and active sessions.
  • Personal 2FA setup requires your current password, an authenticator app, and a verification code. Save the generated backup codes. If a Workspace or system-admin policy requires MFA, you cannot disable it until that requirement is removed.
  • Add, rename, or delete passkeys. Adding one may require you to sign in again first.
  • Delete Account permanently removes your sign-in account and account-owned data, disconnects your personal integrations, and signs you out. Workspace member records keep their current status and stored name without an account, so employments, assignments, work times, timesheets, and other Workspace history remain readable. A Workspace admin can remove those member records separately. You must enter your current password and confirm your email address.

Memberships, feedback, and connections

  • My Memberships lists every Workspace, role, and membership status. You can accept or decline invitations and leave a Workspace unless you are its last active admin.
  • My Feedback shows feedback you submitted from Einblick.
  • Connections manages connected accounts, synchronization preferences, and registered devices.
