Choose notification channels and configure delivery on each browser, desktop installation, and mobile device.

Notification Settings

Notification Settings have two layers: first choose which channels each event may use, then enable device delivery on the browser or app installation where you want alerts to appear.

Account and Workspace events

  • Account notifications apply across all Workspaces. They include chat messages, incoming calls, the daily digest, sign-in and security alerts, Workspace invitations, calendar sync, and device handoff.
  • Workspace notifications apply to the current Workspace and include task activity, deadlines, event reminders, work-time shift reminders, bookings, incoming invoices, shares, quotes, invoices, inquiries, and work orders.
  • Depending on the event, the available channels are In-app, Email, Device alert, and In-app banner. A Device alert is eligible for native desktop, browser, or mobile delivery; the current device must also be enabled below.
  • Workspace defaults can prefill Workspace-scoped settings, but your account can override non-enforced events.
  • Incoming calls and security events are enforced and cannot be fully disabled.

Changes save automatically. Use Reset on an event to remove your personal override and follow the effective account or Workspace default again.

This device

  • Notifications on this device controls delivery only on the current desktop installation or browser profile. Enabling it in a browser requests the browser or operating system permission when needed.
  • Sound and Show while using Einblick are local too. With the focused-window option off, device alerts are suppressed while you are already looking at Einblick.
  • Message sounds controls subtle in-app cues for sent and received chat and assistant messages. It is enabled by default and stored on this device; Preview message sound plays a sample. Incoming cues play only while Einblick is in the foreground and do not duplicate the sound of a native device alert.
  • The desktop app also offers Launch at login, so eligible alerts can arrive before you open its window.
  • Send test notification verifies the current permission and local sound/display behavior without changing an event preference.
  • Clicking a device alert opens its destination. For a notification from another Workspace, Einblick switches Workspace first.

The Mobile app card shows how many registered phones or tablets currently have push delivery enabled. Permission and delivery are controlled separately inside each mobile app installation.
