Phases

Phases are range-based planner items in the planner hierarchy:

1. Project
2. Work order
3. Phase, milestone, or task

Phases store editable start and end dates. Milestones store one scheduled datetime. Task deadlines can appear in the same hierarchy as markers, but they are not draggable schedule blocks. Project and work-order bars are computed from phases and milestones only.

Statuses

• planned
• in_progress
• completed
• on_hold
• cancelled

Cancelled phases are excluded from the planner view.

Where to manage phases

• Global planner: Planner
• Project planner: project detail -> planner tab
• Work-order planner: work-order detail -> planner tab

Planner behavior

• Add a phase from a work-order row.
• Use a milestone instead when the item is a single point in time.
• Click a phase to edit it.
• Drag the bar to move it.
• Resize the left or right edge to change duration.
• A phase must belong to a work order.
